One of the most significant environmental and ethical challenges in the clothing industry is the increase in fast fashion. Fast fashion clothes are made quickly to keep up with the latest fashion trends, usually by using the cheapest materials and factories.

The fast fashion clothing model takes a massive toll on the environment and does not always care for the people in its supply chain.

 

 

Making green choices doesn't have to come at the expense of style, quality, sustainability, and ethics.

 Our philosophy is to use the best materials possible, work with ethical factories, and be as transparent as possible.

We distinguish ourselves by being the only brand (that we've come across) that considers how clothes will be disposed of at the end of their use. We have created a composting program called Circular Style that will compost the clothes and return them back to the earth. In a mini-experiment we conducted, we found that the composition of the garment as has significant impact on how it breaks down.  For example, a 60% organic cotton and 40% polyester t-shirt will not break down, if it ever does, the way a 100% organic t-shirt does. That is why we are currently making our clothes of 100% GOTS certified cotton.

Clothing sourced and made ethically of eco-friendly, sustainable materials can be a force for positive change when combined with our composting, give back, and carbon offset programs.
